Facility Rentals at HFMC

Policy Purpose

To ensure Hampton Free Methodist (HFMC) facilities are well managed and used in ways that both glorify Jesus Christ and are consistent with our values and beliefs.  HFMC strives to build God's community in the Community of Hampton Village and the City of Saskatoon. As such, we want to make our facility available to people not only in our church community, but also the community at large.


All bookings must be done through the church office during office hours. (Mon - Fri, 9 am to 3 pm)  HFMC Facilities are available for rental Monday to Friday between 8:30 am to 9:30 pm, when available.  Saturdays between 8:30 am - 7 pm and Sundays between 1 - 6 pm.  The church ministry calendar is put in place and any open days can be rented.  All fees correspond to a four hour rental duration.  For all-day rentals, the rental fee will double.  Some exceptions may apply on a case-by-case basis.  There are no rentals between Christmas and New Years, the church is closed for the week.  There are also no rentals during the summer months. 

A damage deposit in the amount of $200 is required for all events with the exception of funerals.  A posted-dated cheque for the day of the event must be given upon contract signing. It will be returned by mail after 7 days if the facility is left in clean condition with no damage, the renters have left on time, etc.  Fees for damage or cleaning will be deducted if required. Rental fees are listed on the rental agreement for each room in the facility. There is no alcohol allowed on the premises.  We accept cash, cheque or e-transfer as methods of payment.  

*RENTAL FORM HERE  - must be filled out and all payments made to the church office by the Friday, the week before the rental date.   All bookings must be done through the church office during office hours. (M - F, 9 am to 3 pm) Rentals are only booked 3 months in advance. 

Rooms available to rent: 

  • Auditorium (funerals, weddings, conferences only) - $220/4 hours 
  • Multi-purpose Room - $110/4 hours 
  • Light Kitchen Use (countertops, sinks, coffee maker when own coffee is provided -no stoves & does not include any kitchen accessories, ie: plates, cutlery, etc.) - $55/4 hours 
  • Sound Tech (for Auditorium rentals only - ie: weddings, conferences, etc.) - $30/hr with a minimum of 2 hours
